Store Indoors, Skip Full Winterization

Full winterization is built for freezing, outdoor exposure, and long idle periods. If you store your boat indoors at ~45°F all winter, you can skip the full winterization package—no shrink wrap, no antifreeze flushes for freeze protection, no exhaustive decommissioning.

Minimum prep still applies:

  • Stabilize fuel and run it through the system.

  • Fog only if OEM requires for non-freezing storage; otherwise inspect and lubricate per manual.

  • Drain raw water from strainers/low points that could trap pockets.

  • Battery on maintenance charge (our select units include electric).

  • Clean, dry, and cover dust-only—no plastic wrap trap.

  • Document service intervals so spring recommissioning is immediate.
